attractively valued, large-capitalization, domestic equities with leading positions in their
businesses. These core positions are complemented by opportunistically selected holdings from

Fixed Income Management. While each portfolio is structured to meet your unique situation,
our primary objectives are to provide adequate income, preserve capital, and minimize
portfolio turnover and associated trading expenses.
In most instances, a portfolio cannot be properly constructed without a thorough understanding
of your overall financial picture. Accordingly, at the beginning of our relationship, we
develop a Statement of Investment Objectives, including a balance sheet and income statement, which
serves as the investment roadmap. In addition, the Statement of Investment Objectives
seeks to define an appropriate Asset Allocation among stocks, bonds and cash, that reflects your need for income, risk tolerance, capital budget, and return objectives.
